A reporter connected Instacart to ChatGPT, which assembled the cart for formula, ice cream and fruit and opened a checkout confirmation in chat.
The reporter connected an Instacart account through ChatGPT's app list, then asked for infant formula, a small container of vanilla ice cream and some fruit for delivery. ChatGPT suggested products and put options in the cart without much discussion. When the reporter said to check out, a window opened in the chat confirming the order, payment method and delivery address.

Using my connected Instacart account, build a cart at [store name] for: [list of items, with brands or sizes if it matters]. Choose reasonable matches and tell me about any substitutions. Stop when the cart is ready and show me the full cart and total, and do not place the order until I confirm.
